I guess you can blame my District for "Boy's Softball"!

A number of years ago (2000?) an all girls Senior Softball Team from the league next to us made it to the World Series.
There was a team from Arizona that had 4-5 boys on it.
In the US finals the teams were scheduled to play each other.

During the Tournament several girls were hurt/injured playing in games against the boys.
As a result the "all girls" team refused to play against the mixed (girls and boys) team in the US Finals.

As I recall, in the Championship game an all girls team from the Philippines also refused to play the team with the boys on it.

The following year LL established Boy's Softball.
So, as of 2001, boys cannot play with/against girls in Softball.

That said, I have never heard of a Little League that offered Boy's Softball.

LL formed the boys softball division to keep them off the girl's teams.
Relatively recently.
Long long long after the 1973 court decision on letting girls play baseball.

I don't believe its legally restricted any longer, as a result of legal action (decades ago) but I can't find a recent official policy.

Just learned that LL has boys softball divisions.
I don't see us offering it, just surprised I never noticed.

But my question is about boys in girl softball divisions.
I can't imagine these days it is restricted, but what is the current standing?

Really just curious.
