Under Tournament Questions and Answers for 2018, it says the following:

8. Under School Attendance Requirements in the rulebook it says “…A player will be deemed to attend school in the boundaries if: The physical location of the school where they attend classes is within the boundaries established by the local league.” Can a player utilize school attendance documentation to meet eligibility requirements for tournament play?

A: Yes – provided school attendance is established and supported by a document indicating enrollment for the current academic year, dated prior to October 1 of the current school year and with the physical location of the school. Any ONE of the following documents can be used to verify school attendance by such player:
  • Official/Certified school enrollment record dated prior to October 1, 2017;
  • A Little League issued school attendance form completed by the principal, assistant principal, or administrator authorized to sign on behalf of the school.
So my question is What is a LL Issued School Attendance Form???
The Official/Certified School Enrollment form is the School Enrollment Form.
We all know what that is.

Item 2 is the Little League School Enrollment Form we are all familiar with (Linked in the Post above). It can be signed and dated after October 1 but must show attendance at the school started before to October 1.

Item 1 is a School Enrollment Record issued by the school.
So, for example, you go to the school in August to register your child and the school gives you an Enrollment Record/Form. That record/form can be used as proof of school attendance (assuming it includes the school name and address and is properly signed and dated prior to October 1).

Seems Like LL has things Reversed???
  • A Little League issued school attendance form completed by the principal, assistant principal, or administrator authorized to sign on behalf of the school is the School Enrollment Form
  • Official/Certified school enrollment record dated prior to October 1, 2017 is issued by the School.
Again the LL Attendance form is the LL enrollment form and the Official/Certified School Enrollment form is something the school makes up.

How is it Certified?

Any examples of that so called form?

Seems like a play on words.

LL should just have a School Enrollment Form that you attach, nothing else, or change the wording.
