Just got an email from LL on the new requirements for reporting suspected child abuse/neglect in order to comply with new federal requirements (Senate Bill 534).

According to the email it is now a crime to "mind your own business" and ignore/not report suspected child abuse or neglect.

I had thought for the last few years that it was only a matter of time before youth coaches would become mandatory reporters.

This makes them the same as school coaches, (and of course teachers, etc.).
