LL's way of saying Happy Thanksgiving !!!
Now we just have to wait for any more coming out of Congress.

Glad to see the One Year Waiver on majors due to the 16 month age group of 12 year olds.

Also like 4.04 - finally recognized that with CBO everyone is a starter!

Yea, the 10 team doesn't look like an issue, (it would be nice to have 10 teams among all three charters), but the limit of eight 12s could have been an issue, especially since one charter has very few 11s. (We were unable to field an 11 team this year from that group.)

On another change,  we have had requests that we stream the games. A couple of the local travel facilities do this, (though I can say it is a great picture).  I'd be interested if we charged, at least to cover costs.

A little birdie has told me that eliminating the 8 12s rule is on the congressional agenda as a permanent item.
I assume that is only for the re-draft method and not for the tenure system.

On the agenda is one thing.
Passing is another.
Slash bunt ban anyone?

Not in favor of it.
Leagues will just go "heavy" on 12s and more 11s will get pushed down to minors.

Larger leagues will increase the number of 12s on each team just so they don't have to split the division.

Rich, you will be happy to know (as was I) that the slash bunt is not back on the agenda this year. Not from what I heard.

Lou, I think this is a big reason why LL is separating Minors and CP/MP divisions on the charter application. They want a true sense of what those numbers are. But I do understand your point.

LL is just doing everything they can to create super leagues.
They have mismanaged the youth baseball landscape so badly that it's almost embarrassing at this point.
