Milb AA game.
Harrisburg Senators pulled off the fake bunt and swing.
No one died - or even got POed.

I had a batter slash today at 9/10.
Third baseman made the play on a hard hit ground ball.
No complaints from their side.

It's the skinned 60' field in baseball where it gets sketchy......On a grass 90' there isn't much risk at all.

On a skinned field you can wait even longer on a bunt attempt because the ball will get to you faster.

Like every Softball field ever?
Where it is actually a coached position as "lefty slapper".
Yep. No one dies.

But when my F5 daughter is playing 20' from home... well, I get nervous sometimes.
And thank God for face masks and heart guards.

at a minimum in softball, F1, F3, and F5 should all wear masks at least through JV.  my DD (10u) plays 3B a decent amount, coaches have her playing about even with back half of circle (SS very deep), so ball gets on her quick.
