I was told by another League Official that LL was going to delay the bat rules another year.

I have not heard that anywhere else.

Does anyone have more info?

I'd rather just get it done at this point.

We already made our sacrifices this year in preparation for the change.

No such announcement on either the LL web site or Facebook page.

     We are ready also.

No such announcement on either the LL web site or Facebook page.

I've seen nothing either, but this guy said he heard something. Local DA said didn't hear anything either.

I'm really not trying to start a rumor, it is just that this guy said he was sure.

The only thing on the internet that I can find about it is this post, so we'll see.

I really hope they don't delay it another year.

If there was going to be a delay, I STRONGLY BELIEVE it would not only be only LL.
LL has fought too hard for this.
Any delay on implementation would come from USA Baseball.
It is their show for this one.

I didn't know this, and it may have been what was being referred to, it is a stickering program for Tee Ball bats only.

Note: Tee Ball Bats

Starting on January 1, 2018, all Tee Ball bats in the Little League Baseball® Tee Ball program must feature the USA Baseball mark and accompanying text. Tee Ball bats that were produced and/or purchased prior to the implementation of the new standard can be certified using an Approved Tee Ball Sticker (available September 1, 2017) via the USA Baseball Tee Ball Sticker Program for use with approved Tee Ball baseballs for Little League play. Tee Ball bats for Little League Softball® Tee Ball programs must follow the Little League Softball Official Regulations, Playing Rules, and Policies.

I did see that a few weeks ago.
It's possible that's what he was referring to.

T-Ball bats are a different animal.
Pretty sure we aren't dealing with exit speeds in T-Ball.

I did hear that there was a major issue at the Texas World Series Teeball Tournament with shaved or altered bats so its about time someone took control.

~ ok, I'm being a smart a$$ with a holdover from the old eteamz forum that was around many years back and some of the fun we used to have about Texas Teeball.

Nowadays Texas isn't the only place holding Tee-Ball World Series!!!
Do an Internet Search and you'll find them in Tennessee, Louisianna, Florida as well as a few other places.
Gotta identify those future MLBers As Soon As Possible !!!

     Saw it had spread.

Some years ago I read an article taking about a coach pitch travel team flying back from a tournament, and the parents loudly making fun of the team their team defeated.

I'm thinking, "travel at 7?" "Coach pitch travel?" "Parents ragging on another team in coach pitch?"

"What's next, t-ball travel?," being facetious.

 Well I guess I've been shown.  :)

On Facebook last night I saw a TBall softball team and they looked like they could beat my local 8-10 minor teams.
