I am using the online tool to create a tournament affidavit.
I have several players who use the school form provided by Little League in place of the three proofs, even though they reside within our boundary.
Last year, the address for those players came up as the school address.
This year I have to input a player's home address or the form will not upload.
The address on the map is their home addresses but the school document is the "residency" proof provided.

My question is: Will the School Form take the place of proofs of residency for these players who already reside in the league boundary?

You need to fill out all the worksheets in the Excel file.

So, on the Players worksheet you put the parent's address, but, if residence is based on school attendance you also put in the School name in the appropriate column.
The program will then put the School location (from the Schools worksheet) on the map.

At least that is what we were told!

Good Luck - Hope it works. ;o)

I have input schools and school addresses on the schools tab.

I have entered parent addresses.  I have selected Little League School Attendance Form and the school on the players tab of the excel file.  The map created shows home addresses not school address.

The only exception is one player who resides out of our boundary but attends school in our boundary.  It replaces his home address with the school address.

Unfortunately, the map seems to only use the school address if the home address is out of bounds.  It wasn't like this last year.

I noticed that the player verification sheets would allow me to hand write in the school addresses and check school enrollment.  However the map shows, home addresses and I am wondering if that will be a problem?

I didn't start the process for my team yet, but remember LL changed providers so it's possible there are some glitches.

I've been involved with a number of "New Computer Program" installations (developed by in-house IT as well as developed by other companies/contractors).
One of the most important parts of the process is product testing, it needs to be extensive.
You want to make sure the program does what it is supposed to do and you do not want to put a program out "for use" that has bugs/errors (if at all possible).
A lesson it unfortunately appears LL hasn't learned yet.

After working so well last year I'm pretty dissapointed with the current system.

I'm having the same problems with players home addressing being populated when we are using school enrollment. I even have one address that is in a totally different town for some unknown reason. And all are coming out as out of boundary.

Too many errors to fix!!

I guess I'm going to do it the old fashioned way this year.

Bummer.

Someone figure out a fix because I need to do mine in the next couple of days.

It worked so great last year, all of our manager's were surprised how easy everything was.

If you use School Enrollment as the basis for Residency try putting the School Address in the Home Address blocks.
It might be worth a try.

Has anyone called Williamsport to report the problems?
Maybe if enough people call it might get fixed.

Well I emailed again and received this:

For live assistance with the Little League® Affidavits & Player Verification Forms tool, please navigate to the Affidavit help desk at: https://littleleague...sk.com/hc/en-us.

Or, for phone support, please call 855-703-2581 during the following hours:

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM PT
Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PT

I tried calling but the company disconnects when it transfers me to hold. I have submitted a ticket detailing the issue. Maybe someone will figure this out.

In the mean time, I will use school addresses as home addresses.

I received a response for the ticket I submitted to Affinity Sports.
They have corrected the problem and now the map and affidavit reflect school address when the school form is used for both in and out of boundary players.

Good to know - for next year!!!
All of the Affidavits in our District have already been signed off by the DA.

In our District, several Divisions start All Star play this coming Saturday (June 17).
All the rest start on Friday the 23rd.

Yes, everything looks good now.
I'm finishing up my affidavit tonight for final approval this Saturday.

Our district had first approval session this past Saturday and 75% + of teams need to come back next Saturday.
Easy to make mistakes.
